Nantong-Wuxi Expressway Haimen to Tongzhou section ( the Ring Expressway for short) project has completed a total investment of 12.485 billion yuan. 7 interchanges including Haimen East Hub, Qi’an Hub, Xinlian Hub, New Airport Interchange, Erjia Interchange, Jinsha Interchange, and Shigang Interchange have been almost completed.

The Ring Expressway is a key part of the highway network of ‘the first ring to connect South Jiangsu, the second ring to connect Puxi, the third ring to connect Pudong’. The project starts from Haimen Riverside Road, and ends at Shenyang-Haikou Expressway. The overall length of the route is 65.4 km. The total estimated investment is about 14.9245 billion yuan. It is planned to be completed and opened to traffic in 2024.
