On 1st July, the third 7600 cubic meters LNG bunkering ship built by Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. for Seaspan ULC from Canada was launched smoothly in Qidong.
There are in total three ships in this series. The ship launched this time is the last one of the series of LNG bunkering ships. The ship is 112.9 m long. Its moulded breadth is 18.6 m, the designed draft is 5 m, and its design speed is 13 knots. It is classified by Bureau Veritas.
The series of LNG bunkering ships integrated the latest ship technology, which can further reduce operational pollution emission and greenhouse gas emission. It is also equipped with relevant propellers with excellent maneuverability, which is suitable for LNG loading, unloading and refueling services under different circumstances.
