All the 42 ‘Green Way Lodges’ in subway stations along Nantong Rail Transit Line 1 and Line 2 are open, providing cooling service areas for citizens and those who work outdoors.

At Hai’er Xiang Station of Line 1, a lot of chairs are placed at the ‘Green Way Lodge’ area for citizens to rest. The cooling area is equipped with folding chairs, kettles, disposable paper cups, and heat prevention and cooling supplies, which not only make it convenient for citizens to rest and cool, but also do not affect passengers’ daily travel.

This year apart from the folding chairs, kettles, water dispensers, and heat prevention items, the ‘Green Way Lodges’ have added ‘Book Corners’, to let citizens enjoy the coolness in summer while reading.

‘Green Way Lodges’ cooling areas will open until 1st September.
