On 11th September, Nantong Health Commission held a departure ceremony for the 20th China (Jiangsu) medical team to Guyana and Malta. 19 members of the foreign aid medical team from Nantong First People’s Hospital, Nantong Second People’s Hospital, Nantong Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Nantong Health College of Jiangsu Province, set out from Nantong on 20th September to Guyana and Malta for a one-year foreign medical aid mission, providing medical services and helping in improving local medical and health level.
Since 1966, Nantong has sent 45 people to complete the foreign aid medical missions to countries including Zanzibar, Malta, and Guyana.
