On 12th September, Nantong International Economic and Technical Cooperation Association's Office in Russia opened in Chita. It will provide better services for Nantong enterprises to deepen trade investment and cooperation with Russia.

Nantong and Russia have had close economic and trade exchanges. More than 50 Nantong entrepreneurs have developed in markets in Chita, Ulan-Ude, and Irkutsk in Russia for decades, and have built a batch of landmark buildings for Russia.

In March 2023, Nantong International Economic and Technical Cooperation Association acknowledged the Russian project office of Nantong Huichuan Overseas Employment Services Co., Ltd. as Nantong Go Global (Russia) Overseas Workstation. After more than one year of trial operation, the workstation has achieved remarkable results, and played an important role in aspects including Nantong companies’ compliance operation, mutual support and common development in Russian market.

Chita is the capital of Zabaykalsky Krai of Russia. It is to the east of Lake Baikal. It borders China to the southeast and Mongolia to the south.
