On 27th February, Panamanian ship ‘SIMAG BEIJING’ berthed at Lvsi Port Heavy-duty Terminal, marking the official start of the 50,000 ton berth’s foreign trade qualification.
Since Lvsi Port Heavy-duty Terminal went into operation in 2024, it is mainly responsible for the loading and unloading of heavy and large cargo such as wind power equipment and heavy machinery. After it passed National First-class Customs Port opening acceptance, the port will be officially included in the international shipping network system. According to introduction, the deep-water berth with a total length of 273 meters, is equipped with advanced equipment such as 200-650 ton crawler cranes and SPMT. The design annual throughput can reach 3 million billable tons. It can build an efficient logistics channel for new energy equipment export in the Yangtze River Delta region.
