On the afternoon of 23rd February, the reporter captured two finless porpoises chasing and playing in the waves in Longzhua Rock waters of Binjiang Park in the Nantong section of the Yangtze River. The recent period is the best season for finless porpoises to mate and reproduce. As the flagship and indicator species of the Yangtze River, their frequent appearance is an important sign of the continuous improvement of the ecological environment of the Yangtze River.
