On 26 July, municipal bureau of statistics and national bureau of statistics Nantong investigation team published Nantong economy data of the first half of the year together. According to unified accounting results of regional GDP, in the first half of the year, the realized GDP of Nantong is 566.36 billion Yuan, calculated at constant prices, there is an increase of 1.6%. In the aspect of industries, the increase of the first industry is 19.72 billion Yuan, there is an increase of 5.1%; the increase of the second industry is 285.03 billion Yuan, there is an increase of 1.9%; the increase of the third industry is 261.61 billion Yuan, there is an increase of 0.9%.

Since the start of the year, international environment has been complex and severe. Epidemic appears here and there. The pressure of economic downturn of our city in the second quarter increased significantly. Faced with the complicated and difficult situation, economy stabilization policy has been implemented effectively, a series of documents to solve difficulty were published, the foundation of economic development was stabilized, to promote the economy to return to stable and upgrading track gradually.
