On 28 November afternoon, after a fierce match in the rain, Nantong Zhiyun football team completed the one hard fight to ‘enter the Chinese Super League’, rose in the top 3 of Chinese Super League this year with a score of 70, and won the participation qualification for next years’ Chinese Super League two rounds in advance.

In 2015, Nantong became the first football reform and development trial city in Jiangsu. In January 2016, Nantong Zhiyun football club was born. Our city had the first professional football club. In 2018, Nantong Zhiyun went in Chinese Football Association China League successfully, and rose in Chinese Super League successfully this year.
