At 3 pm 16 December 2022, World Green Summit which lasted 3 days was closed at United Nations Conference Center in Bangkok, Thailand. At the closing ceremony of the summit, Zhang Qinying, student from Haimen, shared her feelings during the summit, urged young people to pay attention to ecological civilization building, and participate in environmental protection practice actively in their best abilities.

At the summit, there were 160 youth representatives from more than 30 countries in the world, including 16 Chinese representatives. Apart from overseas Chinese and students from Hong Kong, Zhang Qinying was one of the 9 representatives from mainland China. She was also the only participating representative from Jiangsu province.

Zhang Qinying is from Haimen. She is a year 4 finance student in Nanjing Audit University. During the summit, she not only showed the world the green practice in China, but also talked about her own idea, shared the opinions of Chinese youth on coping with climate change.
