On site Visit, forum promotion, research and learning...on 30 November 2022, after economic and trade representatives of our city reached Tokyo, Japan, they carried out visit, communication, and in depth promotion work as soon as possible. The reporter learnt from municipal bureau of commerce that 3 business attraction people of our city were building connections with economic and trade organizations in Japan actively, visiting old clients, making new friends, and preliminary business promotion achievements have been achieved up to now.

As an investment hot land of Japanese invested enterprises, Nantong has attracted more than 600 Japanese invested enterprises to develop in Nantong. After the representatives sent by our city arrived at Japan, they visited several headquarters of Japanese enterprises which invested in Nantong including Pegasus, ClassNK, Shirako, The Bank of Nagoya, Daiwa House Group, got to know the operation conditions of the enterprises, talked about friendship, and introduced the latest development achievements of Nantong in the past few years actively to increase their confidence of investment. Among them, several Japanese enterprises said that they would increase investment and expand manufacture in Nantong.

At the same time, representatives in Japan visited more than 10 Japanese enterprises such as the Sumitomo Trust & Banking Compony Limited, Kyowa Kirin, Clara consultants, JERA power, Huazhong Consulting Service, Takenaka Corporation, Haier, KITZ, promoted the investment environment of Nantong, promoted industrial policies, talked about cooperation intention, invited clients to visit Nantong and invest. Representatives of a lot of Japanese enterprises and organizations said that they had confidence in development prospect of Nantong and would promote the cooperation with our city actively.

Up to now, Nantong international cooperation and communication center in Japan has selected office address in Minato-ku of Tokyo. In the future, it will become a communication bridge of international cooperation between Nantong and Japan, promote more excellent Japanese invested enterprises to enter Nantong.
