According to statistics of Nantong Customs, in the first two months of this year, the realized foreign trade import and export of Nantong is 57.06 billion yuan, ranked the 4th in Jiangsu. There is a year-on-year increase of 3.2%, which accounts for 7.6% of the total import and export value of Jiangsu.

In terms of products, in the first two months, Nantong exported 20.72 billion yuan of mechanical and electrical products, there is an increase of 28.3%, which accounts for 54.3% of total export of Nantong. Among them, export of marine engineering platforms is 5.5 billion yuan, while there is no export record of the same period last year; export of ships is 2.65 billion yuan, there is an increase of 97.1%; export of lithium battery is 320 million yuan, there is an increase of 101.5%. The sum of the above 3 categories contributes to 19.7% of the total export increase percentage of the city.
