On 29th November, in Rugao, Wu Xinming, Secretary of CPC Nantong Committee, met with Christian Levin, the president and CEO of Scania Group and TRATON, and his party, who came to visit and research in China.

Wu Xinming expressed congratulations on the progress of the building of Scania’s project. He said that Nantong would fully support Scania in acceleration of the project, to ensure its completion and production capacity as scheduled. He hoped that Scania could further expand its business layout in Nantong, put more new technologies and applications of new craft research in Nantong, and increase the industrial chain cooperation with Chinese enterprises and Nantong enterprises.

Christian Levin said that the Scania project was the largest project of the group outside Sweden. He hoped to continue to promote the cooperation with various fields in Nantong, to better serve Chinese market and global market.
