On 27th January, lanterns were lit at the 30-day-long 1st Spring Festival Yu Garden Lantern Festival, which attracted many citizens and tourists to watch and enjoy.

The Yu Garden Lantern Festival this year is held at four places at the same time which are Paris of France, Shanghai, Shenyang and Rudong, Jiangsu of China.The shapes of the lantern groups are synchronized in the four places. The design inspiration comes from the Classic of Mountains and Seas. It presents a fantasy world where zodiac dragons live in harmony with marine animals and plants. 25 lantern groups were built in total. The layout area is 26 thousand square meters.
