On 19th March, ‘EMEI’ which was fully loaded with 160 thousand cubic meters of LNG, returned to CNPC Jiangsu LNG Port at Yangguang Island, Yangkou Port, Rudong. As a LNG carrier of CNPC, ‘EMEI’ was ‘listed’ for winter supply officially in the end of 2023. This time, it returned with cargo from across the ocean. It was the first time it returned home to unload after it went into operation, marking the successful operation of another ‘The Pillar of a Great Power’ in LNG industry.

China National Petroleum Corporation Jiangsu LNG receiving terminal is the natural gas supply base with the strongest peak adjustment ability in the Yangtze River delta area at present. Now there are 6 LNG tanks. The total tank capacity is 1.08 million cubic meters. In the 13 years of operation, the terminal has received and unloaded over 57 million tons of LNG from 26 countries and areas in total, which is equivalent to over 80 billion cubic meters of natural gas.
