At 6:15 on 12th March, an all-cargo flight loaded with 22 tons of goods took off from Nantong Xingdong International Airport. After more than 3 hours of flight, it landed smoothly in Tokyo, Japan. It marked the official resumption of the international all-cargo flight between Nantong and Tokyo.

‘The flight takes only 3 hours to arrive in Tokyo. It can return to Nantong with goods of the return trip on the same day. A half-day round trip can be achieved, which can effectively reduce the operation cost of enterprises.’ Xi Jichuan, an employee from Sichuan Airlines Logistics Co., Ltd., introduced that the flight is scheduled to operate every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It will better meet the needs of cargo transport of cross-border e-commerce, industrial and commercial customers in Nantong and surrounding areas, significantly improve the air transport efficiency between Nantong and Japan, and facilitate the international supply chain.
